Air Canada launches new Mexican route

Air Canada has announced that this summer it will begin flying direct from Montreal to Mexico City. Flights are scheduled to begin on June 17 and will depart every day. Air Canada has timed the new flight so that passengers can connect to other nearby popular Mexican destinations such as Acapulco, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.

Delta connection airline requests new route

Comair, Delta’s smaller regional subsidiary, has requested permission to fly a new route. The proposed route is a daily service between Washington, D.C. and Savannah, Georgia. New route to Japan from American

American Airlines has begun a new direct service from its hub in Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport to Osaka, Japan. The flight will take off once every day, and be served by the wide body Boeing 777 jet used primarily for long-distance flights such as these. American’s executive vice president of marketing Dan Garton believes Osaka is a key Asian market.

International route suspended by Northwest

Northwest Airlines has announced the suspension of its Seattle-Amsterdam-Bangalore route, before one flight had taken off.
