South African Airways (SAA) has launched a new program that allows customers to book their tickets shortly before traveling and still be able to find low airfares.
The general rule for buying cheap airplane tickets has been that the further in advance they are bought, the cheaper they become and vice versa. However, SAA appears to be changing everything.
Called ‘Extra Flexible Flights’, the program is offered all over SAA’s domestic schedule that includes Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth.
Molebatsi Moagi, general manager of sales and marketing, said: “SAA has now made the flying experience more accommodating to satisfy our customers needs by offering all our fares at all times.”
SAA flies direct to New York and Dallas and to most other major American cities through connecting service. It’s not yet known if SAA will extend this offer to its international destinations.
