Two airlines store winter coats for warm weather passengers

Travelers heading to warm climates on Asiana Airlines and Korean Air are now allowed to leave their winter coats at the airport for free.

This should be a welcome addition to passengers who won’t have to lug a useless, heavy winter coat around a warm destination.

Passengers must be flying first or business class or be members of the two airlines’ clubs.
An Asiana spokesman commented: “We need to arrange additional space and pay more attention to the coat storage service, but we are happy that passengers can travel unencumbered.”

So far the service has proved popular and may encourage other airlines to follow suit, particularly during the winter travel season when many flee the cold for warmer temperatures.
