Alaska adds another flight to Mexico

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines has announced that it is adding another route to Mexico.

Starting October 30, Alaska will offer an additional daily flight from Los Angeles to Mexico City.

The route will also offer one-stop continuing service to both Seattle and Portland, Oregon.

The flight will leave Los Angeles at 10:20 am and arrive in the Mexican capital at 3:55 pm. The return flight will leave Mexico City at 4:55 pm and arrive at 10:43 pm.

Alaska’s Gregg Saretsky explained that the addition was part of the airline’s expansion strategy in Mexico.

“Our flight schedule to Mexico’s beach resorts is already second to none. We are confident that demand for our business-focused Mexico routes will continue to build as we offer more schedule options and as new customers become more familiar with Alaska’s unique style of service,” he said.

Alaska offers flights from the U.S. to nine Mexican destinations including Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cancun.
