Allegiant doubles flights to Las Vegas

Allegiant recently announced a new route to San Francisco, service which will begin early next year. The airline will also double the number of flights to Las Vegas from Pheonix-Mesa.

Executives of Allegiant Airline arrived at Gateway on Thursday’s inaugural flight from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas and announced that the carrier would increase the number of flights to Las Vegas to twelve from six per week, starting on January 18 and begin service to the Bay Area on the same date with six flights a week.

Brian Davis, Allegiant’s communications director, said “Las Vegas flights were doubled to accommodate an overwhelming response from a broad base of Allegiant customers and others.”
