Continental Airlines will expand its route from Veracruz to Houston airport with two daily flights. This will start operating on December 16th. The schedule is not defined at the moment but for sure it will keep the morning flight to Houston.

Besides, the airlines its expecting to add in 2011, a new route to the United States that will expand the range of offers for the Veracruz airport, which was seriously affected by the closure of Mexicana de Aviacion.

On the other hand, Alejandro Pantoja Lopez, the Port International Airport administrator said “It was a good choice of ASUR Corporate, to ally with airlines such as Via Aerobus that offer flights to Cancun, where we soon will open a route to London. All this means that our entity will be a springboard to travel to the Mexican peninsula and from there to other parts of the world.
