Hundreds of passengers remained stranded at Buenos Aires International Airport after last night Aerolineas Argentinas canceled a dozen flights, all this in the middle of a union dispute, as sources of the air station said today.
The situation in Argentina’s main airport was exacerbated when some 90 passengers refused to get off the plane after they waited three hours until it was finally canceled.
After remaining for around eleven hours in the aircraft, passengers agreed to leave the plane when the staff promised that today they could have another flight for them and they would grant them free passage for the damage, local media reported.
About 20 flights were canceled last night, “because the airport infrastructure collapsed,” and ” the pilots’ strike caused several problems on Thursday”. Besides the fact that ” Friday is a very busy day”, the company sources added.
