JetBlue adds new route from Hartford

A nonstop service between Hartford and West Palm Beach, starting January 12, was announced today by JetBlue.

West Palm Beach is “the fourth destination JetBlue has added from Hartford since it started service a year ago”, noted The Associated Press. JetBlue also flies nonstop from Hartford to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, and will offer a service to San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 5.

“We find that Hartford and Palm Beach are a great fit for the JetBlue brand,” said Dave Clark, director of route planning for JetBlue, who added “we’ve had a lot of success in both of those communities and we feel that travellers really appreciate the extra offerings that JetBlue gives.”

This new route seems to continue with the effort JetBlue in making to bolster targeted point to point routes at airports flanking its main Northeastern hubs, especially around JFK in New York.
