Discount airline Southwest is offering travelers a last minute travel sale for fares in December.
One-way airfares will range from $34 to $124 depending on the route. Some sample discounts include Chicago to Pittsburgh for $34 and $60 between Austin and Baltimore.
To obtain the fares customers must register on Southwest’s Ding! service, which alerts users via email of the airline’s latest offers. After registering, tickets must be purchased before midnight Tuesday, November 29, 2005.
There is no blackout period for the sale, meaning that these fares can be obtained on any day of the month, even the busiest day of the year, Christmas Eve.
Southwest’s Kevin Krone commented: “Southwest wants to give its customers something else to be thankful for by offering super low fares for travel during the month of December.”
