Southwest might eliminate AirTran routes

 

Southwest Airlines recently said that t plans to eliminate some routes made by AirTran Airways, airline acquired this year by Southwest.

AirTran, based in Orlando, is one of the top airlines operating at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

All though Southwest, which has been deciding on AirTran’s plans, indicated on an article published on Monday that the final consolidation will begin next year and that the company will likely eliminate AirTran routes that are less frequent that once daily, and also those that depend on subsides from the community served.

The routes which possibly would be eliminated haven’t been specified yet.
