US Airways introduces same-day travel system

Recently merged US Airways is trying to facilitate travel for passengers who want to make adjustments to the reservations for same-day travel.

Called Move Up, the program allows customers to skip the standby list for a small charge.

Once a customer has arrived at the check-in desk they can request an earlier flight. If space is available they can reserve a seat that will cost them an additional $25 for domestic flights and $50 for international routes.
